I missed two days of working out this week, but will really try to work out everyday through dead/finals weeks. Though I didn't get a workout in, I met with an old coach today and worked on my pass- he says it's the best he has ever seen it! Makes me feel better before my upcoming South African adventures, and more motivated to keep up my intensity with working out. I somehow injured my h...A note about the running... I somehow injured my hip flexor while on a distance run in December. Since then, every time I run my hip flexor holds me back, feels very tight afterward, and often makes it hard for me to work out for a few days. I have used cycling and rowing as my only form of cardio for around 6 weeks, and try to stretch it in particular with every workout. A few weeks ago, I had to stop after just one warm up lap because I could feel that it was still tight... I can give it a go again, I'm just scared to set myself back. Is cycling at all comparable for running fitness? I know I need to get back in gear, just worried I will set myself back again. Thanks!
