Extreme Team Member Testimonial

Extreme Team Member Testimonial
... Last night as I was doing a mini Pinterest session I was going over the last set of pins that I posted to my "Visual Weight Loss Motivation" board and one in particular was of a workout for tight glutes. I decided to follow that pin to the original post so I could pin more visually motivating pins. Usually I am led to a FitSpo tumblr site but instead I found gold. I am happy to report that I found a website with amazing resources it is easily my new favorite weight loss website. Here is the link: EXTREME FITNESS by Life Plus Fitness

There are tons of workout plans that you can follow. Bikini Body 8 Week Program Prom Workout ProgramTight Tush, etc! There are many different types of programs, check it out, you will not be disappointed. So I was checking out the Cardio section and came across 3 Elliptical Workouts: From Total Body to High Intensity It couldn't have been better timing to come across this website and I promised myself that in the morning I would go to the gym and do the Total Body elliptical workout. I even commented on that post and said that I was going to do the workout the next day.

Here is the workout (I did not create and will not take credit for this - original source is at the end of the workout)

Total Body Workout
Note: You will be using your whole body. Sometimes I will tell you to push and pull with your arms. Sometimes you will let go and use your legs and abs.

**This is a workout created by Michelle Freeman of Life Plus Fitness and can be found here

I always do the weight loss program on elliptical and just peddle and listen to my music as I sweat, which all depends on my effort. But this time I did the manual program and kept track of the time, changed the Resistance and Incline, while I tried to keep up with the recommended SPM. When I got to the gym all the elliptical with the moving handles were used so I used one where all you can do is hold on to the rails. So I did not get to get the total effect but I was sweating and huffing and puffing. There were a couple of times where I could not even get to the recommended SPM. I got there and held the bare minimum for about 5 seconds and then got tuckered out but I kept moving!

Now, I am going to be honest, this workout almost did not happen. I stayed up late to register for my 10k and was so excited and pumped that I could not fall asleep for an hour and a half after I registered and it began at midnight. I woke up and was exhausted! I sent my cousin a text message and told her I was too tired to go to the gym and vowed to go tomorrow. I got cozy under the covers to go back to sleep but the guilt kept me up. Then I remembered that last night I left that comment on LifePlusFitness.com saying how I was going to do this workout at the gym today and Michelle Freeman, herself, asked me how it went. Extra guilt for wanting to sleep longer over working out which I need to do in order to lose this weight. Okay, it was not a lot of guilt but I was just bummed out that I was going to miss the gym but clearly I was not going to go back to sleep so I got out of bed and into my workout clothes and I got in a fantastic workout.

So Michelle Freeman: If you're reading this the workout was fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing all of these resources with us. I really appreciate that you checked in with me! I burned 350 calories. WOO HOO!

Well, that is all for now. Thanks for reading.

  2. Hi,

I'm new here and not sure how to start a new post. I'm sure you get this question A LOT but how do you get motivated. I try my hardest EVERYDAY and then I fail everyday. Wether it be the way I eat (I have the worlds worst sweet tooth) or I just won't exercise. How can I get started and stay going. I know this isn't an easy question with an easy answer. I am needing to lose about 15 pounds and it feels like such a daunting task, but I am sick of being overweight and all my clothes being tight. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

    Jess
